MECAM Fellowship 2026-2027

Applications are invited for eight residential fellowships for postdoctoral and advanced researchers in the humanities and social sciences for the period from September 2026 to April 2027. The fellowship is hosted by the Merian Centre for Advanced Studies in the Maghreb (MECAM) under the theme Imagining Futures: Dealing with Disparity and includes collaboration with MECAM’s interdisciplinary Research Fields. Applicants from all countries, including Tunisia, may apply.

Travel and relocation costs covered; monthly stipend during the fellowship.

Applications are welcome from postdoc and advanced researchers in the social sciences and humanities who want to engage in interdisciplinary, cross-regional exchange and collaboration within MECAM's framework.
