Course on Freedom of Peaceful Assembly (FOPA)

An online, five-week interactive course organized by Hope Behind Bars Africa (in partnership with CIVICUS: World Alliance for Citizen Participation WeRise!) to teach the laws, principles, and best practices surrounding the freedom of peaceful assembly. The course is delivered entirely online and aims to equip participants with knowledge to engage communities and advocate for peaceful assembly rights. Participants receive a certificate of participation and data stipends to support online learning.
