The Hans Böckler Foundation Dieter Schumacher PhD Scholarship Program provides a 12-24 month research stay at a German university or research institute for outstanding international PhD-students in Economics. It supports doctoral candidates to conduct their research while based in Germany, with emphasis on themes relevant to the world of work and co-determination.

Financial support via stipend and travel allowance for a 12-24 month research stay in Germany.

Applications from all countries, especially from the global south, are welcome. Applicants should be under the age of 30 and be pursuing a PhD in Economics or related fields.
