Fulbright ETA – English Teaching Assistant Year 2026 (Indonesia)

Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA) is a program run by AMINEF that places American graduates as teaching assistants in Indonesian secondary schools (SMA/SMK) for nine months to support English instruction and extracurricular activities. ETAs work alongside local English teachers, primarily in regular classes, and may engage in community activities to promote English language use and cultural exchange.

Support for travel, insurance, and living costs; opportunity to teach English as a teaching assistant and engage in cultural exchange; participation in community projects.

US citizens who have completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree.

Applications open November 1, 2025. Schools download and submit the application form via aminef.org and email the completed form to ETAIndonesia@aminef.or.id. Deadline for submission is 2 February 2026.
