Pragati Scholarship Scheme 2026-27 for Girl Students Degree and Diploma

The Pragati Scholarship Scheme for Girl Students is an AICTE initiative to support girls pursuing technical education at the degree and diploma levels. It provides a lump-sum scholarship amount annually to cover college fees, books, and related expenses for eligible students. The scheme targets young women in technical education across AICTE-approved institutions.

Lump-sum scholarship of Rs. 50,000 per year toward college fees, books, equipment, and related expenses.

Girl candidates admitted to the first year of a degree course or the second year through lateral entry in AICTE-approved institutions, with a maximum of two girls per family and family income not more than Rs. 8 lakh per annum.

Apply online on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP); host institution to verify; state/UT Department of Technical Education to verify as second level of scrutiny.
