UNESCO Juan Bosch Prize 2026

Nominations are open for the UNESCO Juan Bosch Prize 2026. The prize recognizes young researchers under 40 years old whose work focuses on Latin America and the Caribbean and who have made notable contributions to social science research and social development policy in the region. The laureate of the 2026 edition will receive a total award of USD $12,000.

Candidates must be under 40 years old and their social science research work must address themes related to the Latin America and Caribbean region.

Nominations must be submitted through governments of Member States (in consultation with National Commissions) or by NGO partners in official relations with UNESCO.
