BEng Industrial Engineering with Work-Integrated Option

Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering with a work-integrated option offered at Hochschule Bielefeld – University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSBI). Students combine academic study with a company placement, including a compulsory internship in the later semesters and a remunerated work term. The programme enables students to gain professional experience during studies and includes opportunities to work abroad or undertake integrated projects with partner companies.

Tuition is not charged for the programme; students in the work-integrated track are employed by a company during the work terms and receive remuneration. The programme offers the possibility of a semester abroad and integrated language and intercultural training.

The programme is open to applicants of all nationalities. Requirements include the Abitur, Fachhochschulreife, or an equivalent school-leaving certificate; English language proficiency is also required.
