The AMALI Postdoctoral Research Fellowship 2026 offers two fully funded research positions hosted by the African Centre for Cities at the University of Cape Town, in collaboration with Big Win Philanthropy and Bloomberg Philanthropies. It targets early-career researchers focusing on urban governance, data-driven transformation, and policy impact in African cities, with the Urban Governance Research Lab central to the work. Fellows conduct quantitative and qualitative research, contribute to publications, and participate in internal and public forums while based in Cape Town.

شروط الأهلية
Applicants must have completed a doctoral degree in a field related to urban studies within the past five years, with strong writing skills and fluency in English. Experience in local government and knowledge of urban governance in Africa are advantageous.
