Friedrich Ebert Foundation (FES) Young Leaders Training Programme 2026

Applications are open for the Friedrich Ebert Foundation (FES) Young Leaders Training Programme 2026 in Cameroon. The edition features eight two-day training sessions (Thursday to Friday) organized at the end of each month from March to October 2026, either in person or online. The programme aims to strengthen the political participation of young people involved in civil society, trade unions and political parties, covering topics such as political leadership, strategic communication, democratic values, and operational management tools.

Applicants must be aged 18-35, reside in Cameroon, be available for all programme sessions, hold a university degree (or be in the process of obtaining their first degree), be politically or socially active, and be involved in an organisation, project, trade union or political party.
