Botany in Action Fellowship Program 2026

The Botany in Action Fellowship Program 2026 provides one year of research funding and educational outreach support for PhD students conducting plant-based research. Fellows receive a grant for research/outreach expenses, an all-expenses-paid trip to engage in science outreach, and ongoing opportunities to connect their research with public audiences through various outreach activities.

Applicants must be enrolled in a PhD program at a US graduate institution and conduct plant-based research; must be able to travel to Pittsburgh, PA for the specified week and commit to online outreach activities afterward.
