Africa Ecosystem Catalysts Facility Opens Applications in Ghana, Nigeria & Tanzania 2025

The Africa Ecosystem Catalysts Facility (AECF) is a funding initiative to empower early-stage startups in Ghana, Nigeria, and Tanzania that are developing context-specific, scalable solutions. It is led by Village Capital and supported by FMO and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency, and collaborates with local Entrepreneur Support Organisations. Selected ventures receive capital alongside coaching, investment-readiness support, and access to a regional network of funders and mentors.

Locally-led, early-stage startups solving real problems with evidence of traction, and currently seeking capital between USD 75,000 and USD 500,000.
