Alfred Friendly Press Fellowship 2026

The Alfred Friendly Press Fellowship is a four-week in-person program for foreign journalists living in exile in the United States. It focuses on security, legal issues, journalism and entrepreneurship, and aims to build skills and resiliency while creating a diverse community among journalists facing similar challenges.

Housing, meals, transportation coverage and a $2,000 living stipend; training in security, legal, journalism and entrepreneurship; community among journalists.

Open to foreign journalists who are living in exile in the US. English proficiency is required.
