Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Programme 2026/2027

The Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Programme provides Master’s level scholarships funded by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (UK) for study in the United Kingdom. It covers approved airfare, full tuition fees, a living stipend, and additional allowances where applicable, aimed at citizens of eligible Commonwealth countries. The scholarships support international development goals and require recipients to return to their home country after completing studies.

Airfare, tuition coverage, living stipend, clothing allowance, thesis grant, travel grant, TB test costs, and child allowances where applicable.

Applicants must be citizens of or have refugee status in an eligible Commonwealth country, be permanently resident there, be available to start UK study in Sep 2026, hold a 2:1 or equivalent first degree (or a lower degree plus relevant postgraduate qualification), not have studied/worked for more than 1 year in a high income country, and be unable to afford UK study without this scholarship.
