Junior Professionals in Delegation (JPD) Programme

The Junior Professionals in Delegation (JPD) Programme is a high-level, paid traineeship run by the European External Action Service (EEAS) in partnership with the European Commission. Approximately 54 positions are funded for the 2026-2028 round, with participants posted to EU Delegations across Europe and possibly other locations.

Monthly salary; placement in one of the EU Delegations; professional experience in EU external action.

Candidates must be nationals of an EU Member State and hold, by the closing date, at least a Master’s degree in a domain relevant to EU Delegations activities; excellent command of English and/or French; and have up to four years of professional experience with relevance to the programme, with preference given to more relevant experience.
