IISD Geneva Internship Program

The IISD Geneva Internship Program offers students from Swiss universities practical experience in sustainable development. Interns work with IISD experts on international projects and policy research across areas such as Economic Law and Policy, Energy, Resilience, and Communications. The program includes structured internship terms with mentoring and opportunities to contribute to real-world policy work.

Research, communications and project-management experience, supervision by a dedicated IISD mentor, and a structured intake with multiple areas to contribute to.

Enrolled in a master’s or Ph.D. program at a Swiss university; the internship must count toward academic credits.
