The Carnegie African Diaspora Fellowship Program (CADFP) supports educational projects at African higher education institutions by hosting African-born scholars residing in the United States or Canada. Managed by the Institute of International Education (IIE) and funded by a grant from the Carnegie Corporation of New York (CCNY), the program facilitates research, graduate student teaching/mentoring, and curriculum co-development through host institutions in Africa. Hosts submit project requests and scholars apply to join the scholar roster; the program aims to strengthen higher education across participating African universities and partner institutions.

Daily stipend, visa costs, limited health insurance, round-trip international travel and local transportation costs; potential for curriculum co-development, research collaboration, graduate teaching, training and mentoring.
