Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Presidential Center Amujae Initiative 2026

The Amujae Initiative is the flagship program of the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Presidential Center for Women and Development. It aims to inspire and prepare African women to take on high-level public leadership roles by providing mentorship, leadership development, and a multi-generational network of women leaders. The program seeks to increase women’s representation in public leadership by strengthening skills, networks, and public perception of women leaders.

Mentorship from former heads of state and international leaders, access to a multi-generational network, and guidance from top-tier experts as part of a unique leadership development program.

Amujae Leaders are high-achieving women from across Africa with a track record of leadership in public life or related sectors and a commitment to ascend to the highest levels of public leadership.
