Graduate Women In Science Grants and Fellowships

Graduate Women In Science Grants and Fellowships provide funding to graduate students, post-doctoral researchers, and early-stage researchers, with the aim of supporting continuation or completion of their research in the fundamental sciences. Awards are made to women holding a degree from a recognized institution, with consideration given to outstanding ability and research promise, and membership in SDE/GWIS may be required for eligibility. Selection is conducted irrespective of race, religion, nationality, creed, national origin, sexual orientation, or age.

Applicants must be graduate students, post-doctoral researchers, or researchers in early-stage academic careers, demonstrate financial need, and be members of GWIS/SDE where applicable.
