Basil O’Connor Starter Scholar Research Awards (BOC) support young physicians/scientists aligned with the March of Dimes' mission. Applications prioritize work related to preterm birth and birth defects and require a direct link to clinical translation, with the ultimate goal of curing or mitigating conditions affecting pregnant women and newborns.

Open to early-career physicians/scientists with a project that demonstrates clinical translation related to maternal and newborn health.
