ERC Advanced Grants

The ERC Advanced Grants programme funds frontier research proposed by established research leaders. It supports exceptional researchers to carry out independent frontier research projects across all fields of research, including the social sciences. Host institutions must be based in EU Member States or Associated Countries, and the grant aims to enable high-risk, high-impact work over up to five years with significant funding.

Funding for research project costs and salary for the principal investigator and team for up to five years.

Researchers with an established but independent research track record, of any nationality and age, who must be able to lead a project and work at a host institution in an EU Member State or an Associated Country.
