Civic Activism Photo Contest

The Civic Activism Photo Contest invites young people in Europe to express civic activism through photography. Participants submit a single high‑resolution photo on the theme of active citizenship, accompanied by a short caption. Twelve winners will have their photos featured in a calendar for 2024, and one exceptional photograph will receive the Grand Prize and be invited to the closing event on 25-28 March 2024.

Winners' photos featured in a high-quality calendar for 2024; winners receive a copy of the calendar; one Grand Prize winner invited to the closing event.

Be a resident of a Council of Europe member state and aged 18-25 years old.

Submit one original photo (JPEG or PNG) with a caption (max 50 words); ensure you have rights to the image and permission for recognizable people or trademarks if present.
