CASSINI Hackathon Space for Water

The CASSINI Hackathon Space for Water is a competitive coding and problem-solving event for innovators across Europe to develop space-derived solutions addressing water challenges. It gathers teams to create cutting-edge approaches using space technologies to secure equitable access to water, track pollution, and support disaster risk monitoring. The 11th edition runs from 24 to 26 April 2026 across multiple European locations.

Cash prizes (up to 9,000€) and mentoring; prizes awarded to top teams (1st: 5,000€, 2nd: 3,000€, 3rd: 1,000€) plus six months of mentoring.

Participants must be at least 18 years old at the start (24 April 2026); teams must include 3 to 8 members; open to residents of European Union countries or non-EU countries associated with Horizon Europe (or those in ongoing association negotiations).
