Bourses d’Excellence de la Confédération Suisse, 2026-2027

The Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships are fully funded scholarships for foreign students to pursue research and studies at Swiss universities, EPF institutes, or music and arts schools for the 2026-2027 academic year. They cover research and study opportunities across eligible disciplines and are aimed at young researchers and artists who have completed a bachelor’s degree or hold a master/doctorate depending on category.

Monthly stipend, housing allowance, travel arrangements or allowances, health insurance coverage in some cases, access to public transportation permits; visa support in some cases.

Open to citizens of all countries; four categories include master’s, doctoral, postdoctoral, and artistic research options.
