Renmin University of China “Belt and Road” Scholarship

The Renmin University of China “Belt and Road” Scholarship awards cash prizes to outstanding international students to study in China and learn about Chinese culture. It is a one-year scholarship paid as a lump sum with tiered awards for first, second and third place. The scholarship is open primarily to students from Belt and Road Initiative countries and targets master's programs taught in English, with other fields eligible if funds remain. Applications are reviewed by each school and the International Students Office, and shortlisted candidates are interviewed.

Cash award paid in one installment (80,000 CNY; 40,000 CNY; 20,000 CNY for first/second/third place respectively).

Only students from the Belt and Road Initiative countries may apply; eligible studies are master's programs in English (students from other fields may apply if funds are not used up).

Download and complete the Renmin University of China “Belt and Road” Scholarship Application Form from iso.ruc.edu.cn, sign it and submit to the applicant's School; School reviews and interviews candidates, submits ranked list to the International Students Office which issues the final list.
