Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship Programme 2025-2026

The Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship Programme funds postgraduate study across all disciplines and is managed by Research Ireland on behalf of the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science. It offers individual awards for research conducted during a Master's or PhD programme with an international peer-review process.

Stipend, contribution to tuition/fees, direct costs for research.

Open to new entrants to a Master’s or PhD programme or to registered students in the first year of the degree for which they are seeking funding.
