The DPhil Research Studentship 2026 in Shock Response of Hexagonal Crystals is a fully funded four-year doctoral research opportunity at the University of Oxford. It focuses on shock compression, impact mechanics, and ultrafast material transformation in aerospace-grade materials such as titanium, magnesium, and zirconium, with access to advanced experimental facilities and international labs.
