Programa de Doutorado-sanduiche no Exterior (PDSE)

The Doutorado-sanduíche no Exterior (PDSE) is a Brazilian government scholarship program that supports PhD students from Brazilian institutions to study for a semester at an overseas university. The program aims to internationalize Brazilian research and universities, with funding covering a period of three to six months and including tuition, travel allowance, housing, and health insurance, among other eligible expenses.

Applications are submitted through CAPES' system during 01-10-2026 to 03-11-2026; selection is internal by the Brazilian university and then CAPES processes the PDSE funding
