MDPI Sustainability Foundation World Sustainability Award 2026

The World Sustainability Award 2026 recognizes individuals who have made groundbreaking contributions to sustainability-related research. It will honor three awardees in Biosphere, Society, and Economy, with the awards presented during the World Sustainability Forum 2026. Each winner receives a monetary prize of $50,000, for a total prize pool of $150,000.

Each of the three winners receives a prize of $50,000, totaling $150,000 in prize money.

Nominees must be senior researchers with a strong international track record in sustainability-related research. Submissions must come from third parties familiar with the nominee’s work and impact.
