Algorithmic Accountability Reporting Fellowship 2025

The Algorithmic Accountability Reporting Fellowship 2025 is a funded programme by AlgorithmWatch for journalists and researchers in Europe to investigate the relationship between AI and power. Fellows receive financial support, mentoring, and organizational resources to produce journalism, research, or multimedia outputs during the fellowship and publication support to help disseminate their work. The fellowship runs from November 2025 to May 2026 and includes an optional in-person gathering in Berlin at the start.

Financial stipend (€7,400 gross per fellow, potentially shared), mentoring sessions, outreach and publication support, organization resources, in-person gathering in Berlin.

Applicants must be 18 or older and reside in the European Union, an EFTA country, a candidate country, or a former country of the EU; English proficiency at B2 level is required; and a strong interest in AI accountability is expected.
