Prix académique de recherche Philippe Maystadt

The Prix académique de recherche Philippe Maystadt is a research prize awarded by the Académie de Recherche et d'Enseignement Supérieur (ARES). It recognizes excellence in research on higher education, including master's theses and doctoral dissertations. The prize awards a one-off monetary endowment to the laureate and offers institutional recognition and visibility within the academic community. Research topics valued include governance, inclusion, digitalisation and the democratisation of higher education.

Applicants must be graduates of an institution of higher education of the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles who have completed a final research work, a master's thesis or a doctoral thesis on higher education and demonstrate scientific excellence and an original contribution.

Submit the complete manuscript, a detailed CV and a motivation letter via the ARES official platform during the opening period; evaluation by an independent expert jury.
