The Government of Japan (through MEXT) offers scholarship programs for Senegal, Cape Verde, Gambia, and Guinea-Bissau nationals to pursue studies in Japan at various levels (research, undergraduate, technology, and professional training). Citizens of Senegal, Cabo Verde, Gambia or Guinea-Bissau are eligible for the programmes at different study levels.
