AI4D Innovation Scaling Challenge 2025

Applications are open for the AI4D Innovation Scaling Challenge 2025. The initiative supports deployed and in-use AI innovations that demonstrate readiness to scale beyond the current user base and have potential for significant social impact, with real-life deployment conditions. It is part of the AI4D programme aimed at fostering responsible and scalable AI ecosystems in Africa.

Seed funding, scaling collaboration/technical assistance, and networking opportunities with innovators, researchers, industry leaders, policymakers and funders.

Eligible applicants include individual researchers and innovators, AI startups and MSMEs/SMEs, research institutions and universities, and consortia working collaboratively on AI solutions.

Applicants should fill the template provided on Submittable (link labeled HERE) describing background, project concept, and responsible AI/scaling assessment.
