UNESCO Equation Nomad 2025 for Young Africans

UNESCO is calling on African youth to participate in the UNESCO Equation Nomad 2025, a funded cultural exchange programme focused on creative expression and intercultural dialogue. The initiative aims to celebrate African heritage and provide a space for young people to develop and showcase their cultural projects, with travel and related expenses covered by the organizers.

Travel, accommodation, meals and visa fees covered; participation in the UNESCO Equation Nomad programme.

Applicants must be Africans aged 18-25 with a strong connection to their African culture and a creative project that explores or celebrates heritage.

Submit a brief personal statement (200 words max) explaining your connection to your cultural heritage and how you plan to contribute; include samples of your creative work; provide contact details and preferred communication method; send documents to m.desta@unesco.org.
