UNEP Hack for the Environment 2025: Digital Innovation for Climate, Nature, and Pollution

The UNEP Hack for the Environment 2025 invites young innovators in Kenya to co-create digital and data solutions addressing climate change, nature loss, and pollution. Participants work individually or in teams to develop data-driven solutions leveraging public datasets to support frontline decision-makers. Benefits include mentorship, networking, certificates, and opportunities for presentation at UN venues.

Expert mentorship and masterclasses, high-level networking, official certificates and LinkedIn badges, UN showcase opportunity for top teams, potential inclusion in UNEP's Digital Accelerator Lab, and real-world impact through data-driven environmental solutions.

Open to Kenyan residents aged 18–35 with an interest in tech and the environment. Apply individually or in a team (4–6 members). They especially encourage participation from women and persons with disabilities (PWDs).

Submit solutions via the official apply form; participation involves weekly sessions and team work over four to five weeks.
