Visa Accelerator Program – Africa 2025 Cohort 5

The Visa Accelerator Program – Africa 2025 helps African-based startups with MVPs or market-ready solutions accelerate growth through mentorship, fintech training, and potential investment opportunities. The program runs for three months and includes product design, marketing, finance, and sales guidance, along with access to Visa’s developer portal and discounts from vendors. It culminates in a Demo Day with potential investments from Visa, Plug and Play, and other VCs.

Startups from Seed to Series A with at least an MVP are eligible to apply; teams developing innovative solutions aligned with the program themes and with existing operations in Africa or a commitment to expand into African markets are encouraged.

Applicants undergo two rounds of screening, virtual interviews for shortlisted startups, and finalists are notified ahead of kickoff.
