President’s Doctoral Scholarships

The President’s Doctoral Scholarships at the University of Manchester fund international PhD students in the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health. The programme provides full tuition coverage for around three and a half years and includes a tax-free stipend for living costs. It targets high-achieving graduates with a strong research background who will contribute to doctoral-level research projects at Manchester.

International students with a bachelor’s degree with honours from a globally recognized institution, and a strong research background, are eligible. Applicants must meet English language requirements (IELTS 6.0-7.5).
