Institute for Economic Justice (IEJ) Feminist Economics Summer School 2025

The Feminist Economics Summer School (FESS) is organized by the Institute for Economic Justice and takes place in person in Johannesburg, South Africa. It targets participants with an interest in feminist economics, including graduates and professionals, to build capacity and strengthen the African Feminist Economics Policy Research and Network. Selected participants will have travel, accommodation, and visa costs covered by the organizers.

Applicants must hold a degree in economics, environmental sciences, social sciences, or politics; or be an economist and/or practitioner or researcher in feminist economics.

Applications open 15 June 2025 and close 30 July 2025.
