The National Conference of Garoos Studies covers topics on archaeology, history and geography of the Garoos region; culture and intangible heritage, visual and ceremonial arts, crafts and architectural styles; water resources, environment, biodiversity and ecosystems, ecology and geology, mineralogy and regional resources; regional notable figures; linguistics and folklore, dialects; and social challenges and development strategies for the Garoos region.
