Omidyar Network Reporters in Residence Program 2025

The Omidyar Network Reporters in Residence Program 2025 offers a paid residency for freelance journalists to devote more time to in-depth reporting focused on digital technology and policy issues. Up to five participants are selected to produce monthly pieces and participate in in-person or virtual convenings, with resources and support from Omidyar Network.

Monthly stipend; travel budget; resources and support for reporting; opportunities to publish and participate in in-person gatherings.

Applicant should have a passion for covering technology and the digital revolution for diverse audiences and be actively working as a freelance journalist with recent clips.
