ELA Traineeships 2026/2027

The European Labour Authority (ELA) invites university graduates to apply for its 2026/2027 traineeship programme in Bratislava and Brussels. The programme lasts 6 to 12 months and provides a monthly stipend, with a travel allowance for eligible candidates. Trainees will work on EU rules relating to working abroad and social security coordination.

Monthly stipend and travel allowance; placement experience at the European Labour Authority in Bratislava and Brussels.

Candidates must be from an EU Member State or an EEA/EFTA country (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Norway) or from candidate/potential candidate countries; must have completed at least the first cycle of university studies or be currently pursuing postgraduate studies; must have very good language skills (two EU languages including English for EU candidates, or very good English for others).
