Utbytesstudier

Utbytesstudier (Exchange studies) at Lund University enables enrolled students to study at one of Lund University's roughly 600 partner universities worldwide for part of their degree, typically for a semester or an academic year. Participants do not pay tuition fees at the host partner university and may bring their Swedish study allowance. Application periods and faculty-specific partner lists vary by faculty; some destinations have separate application procedures (for example the University of California).

Applicants must have completed at least 30 ECTS at undergraduate level at Lund University, be an active student registered for full-time studies at Lund University (or have an approved study leave from a Lund programme), be able to present a study plan with courses equivalent to full-time studies that can be credited towards a Lund degree, and meet the language requirements for the host university.

Students apply for exchange nominations via the faculty where they are enrolled; application periods and nomination procedures differ by faculty. Some partner networks (e.g. University of California) have separate central application processes.
