International Young Scientists Battles (IYSB) 2026

The International Young Scientists Battles (IYSB) is a global, team-format scientific tournament for school students in mathematics, physics, chemistry and informatics. Participants solve challenging problems, present and defend solutions, and publicly debate opposing teams; selection is individual and online with a proctored round, while the final is held offline. The final round in 2026 takes place at the International Information Technology University (IITU/MUIT) in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Top participants receive educational grants to universities, medals, certificates and other prizes.

Educational grants to universities (KBTU, MUIT), gold/silver/bronze medals, official international certificates for all participants, IYSB branded merchandise, additional valuable prizes.

Open to schoolchildren (secondary / high-school students).

Successful registrants may be invited to the offline final.
