SVNIT Summer Internship Programme (SSIP)

The SVNIT Summer Internship Programme (SSIP) is a two-month research internship hosted by Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat. It selects up to 100 undergraduate engineering and integrated science students from across India to work on faculty‑guided research and development projects. The programme runs typically from May 18 to July 17 and provides laboratory access, library and internet facilities, medical consultation, and a stipend of Rs 5,000 per month. Hostel accommodation is available on campus but interns must pay hostel charges and food expenses.

Apply online via a Google Form; submit top‑20% certification, semester mark sheets, and a project write‑up (max 500 words); shortlisted candidates may be interviewed online; final selection communicated by email.
