Africa Food Prize 2025

The Africa Food Prize 2025 is a call for nominations for a prize recognizing outstanding contributions to African agriculture that advance sustainable food security and economic opportunity. The prize includes a cash award of USD 100,000, a diploma and a trophy, with the possibility of awarding to more than one winner but not more than two. Nominations can be submitted for individuals, groups, institutions or organizations with a formal structure and a measurable impact on Africa.

USD 100,000 prize money, a diploma and a trophy; prize may be shared by up to two winners with equal prize money.

The Prize can be awarded to any individual or identifiable group, institution, association, organization or government body contributing to the Prize’s objectives, regardless of nationality, profession or location.

Nomination submissions are accepted through the Africa Food Prize website.
