International Young Physicists’ Tournament (IYPT) 2024

The International Young Physicists’ Tournament (IYPT) 2024 was the 37th edition of an annual international team-based physics competition. The tournament took place in Budapest, Hungary from 10 July 2024 to 17 July 2024 and was hosted by Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), the Roland Eötvös Physical Society, and Bosch. National teams competed in selective physics fights culminating in finals and medal awards. The event included an IOC meeting held after the tournament.

Medals awarded to top teams; medalists of IYPT 2024 received Bitcoin prizes sponsored by Wincent.
