Lise-Meitner-Exzellenzprogramm

The Lise-Meitner Excellence Programme is a Max Planck Society initiative to recruit and support highly qualified female scientists as independent group leaders. It offers scientific freedom, long-term employment security and career development for successful candidates. Appointment to a Lise-Meitner research group is achieved through a competitive selection process conducted by a panel of national and international experts. The programme places groups across various Max Planck Institutes and disciplines.
