Puentes UC

Puentes UC is a university programme that connects students and academic staff with the practical needs of municipal governments through project-based interventions and internships. It engages multidisciplinary student teams to develop and execute proposals that address local public-management, health, education, infrastructure and environmental challenges. Projects are carried out as part of students' academic formation under the guidance and supervision of university academics and in collaboration with municipal partners.

Practical project experience in municipal contexts, supervision by university academics, academic formation and application of theoretical knowledge to real public problems.

Students of the Universidad Católica from various careers participate in projects; involvement is linked to academic courses and practica.

Participation arises through academic courses and practica coordinated by the Centro UC de Políticas Públicas and the Puentes UC programme.
