NIERA Policy Fellowship Program 2025

Applications are open for the Network of Impact Evaluation Researchers in Africa (NIERA) Policy Fellowship Program 2025. The program offers a 6-week fellowship for policymakers from eligible West and East African countries to develop skills in evidence-informed policymaking, beginning with a online course and culminating in a jointly developed research proposal.

Daily per diem of $50 for online workshop attendance; $1,000 proposal development honorarium; virtual collaboration with a NIERA researcher to develop a research proposal.

Applicants must be fluent in English, be policymakers from eligible West or East African countries, be mid-level policymakers with responsibility for policy or program documents, have at least a Bachelor’s degree, and have employer support.
