Arbeitsaufenthalt im Museum

The Arbeitsaufenthalt im Museum is a bilateral programme enabling young museum professionals to spend two months working in a partner country's museum sector. It includes an introductory seminar, a language and intercultural preparation course, the two-month placement in the partner country, and a follow-up evaluation seminar. The programme aims to strengthen professional skills, foster Franco-German cooperation and deepen cultural understanding.

Monthly stipend (€700 or €900 depending on employer remuneration), lump-sum travel allowance, introductory and evaluation seminars, language and intercultural preparation course.

Applicants must be up to and including 35 years old, have permanent residence in Germany, possess at least A2 level French, and be available for the entire programme duration.
