CDZ Information Trip to Research Institutions in China (Autumn 2026)

The CDZ Information Trip to Research Institutions in China is an approximately 10-day programme in late October–early November 2026 that visits leading Chinese universities and research centres. It is aimed at postdoctoral researchers from German research institutions in the fields of physics and chemistry and includes laboratory visits, workshops, matchmaking sessions and participation in the World Laureates Forum. A mandatory preparatory workshop is scheduled before the trip. The programme is financed by the Chinesisch-Deutsches Zentrum für Wissenschaftsförderung (CDZ).

Economy-class international flights, internal China travel to programme institutions, hotel accommodation, meals, guided visits, workshops, matchmaking sessions and participation in the World Laureates Forum; accompaniment by CDZ/NSFC/DFG staff.

Postdoctoral researchers at German research institutions in the fields of physics and chemistry; prior knowledge of China or Chinese language is not required.
